(Update for Jan 7 to 10, 2007)

Did u know how beautiful an island can be?? Well…after years not being in Penang, also known as Pulau Pinang, it finally came to my senses on how much this small simple island had grown tremendously. It was sort of heaven when I first reached Penang…its like being in Mini KL added with Mini PJ. Lol…

Well, truthfully, i can’t really remember the areas in Penang. But the people I met, got to know, and hang out with was amazing!! Lyna, all the way from Kedah dropped by together with Lou Gong (don’t know his name :P ) n Kaz came all the way from Taiping…just to meet me, hang out for 2-3 hours. How amazing is that??!

PS: i know most people would just say “its just a bloody hour drive”, but the sacrifices they made to meet me on a weekday, what more the time to plan this meeting n such…its more than just a mere friendship/acquaintance.

I went to Penang with a bunch of mates, that was Darlin’ Jay, Justin Ah Pa n Kenzo. The three of us left at night from my place…together with my baby Suki (kitten – now a grown fat cat at Jay’s place in Penang) and we arrived bout 3 1/2 hours after that. We then met 1/2 of Jay’s mates in Mainland, at a Pelita before we continued our journey to Jay’s place. Kenzo though, as he’s from Penang, stayed over his own home n we only joined him over his place on the 3rd night.

The second day in Penang, we made our journey around Gurney Drive, went karaoke with Bra & Yen Li, met up with Lyna, Kaz n Lou Gong, steamboat dinner with the whole bunch of Jay’s friends and clubbing in Mambo. Was amazing, we had most our time occupied then…=)

The third day was a lil more dull, as Jay, Justin n I stayed at home and we only made our way to Batu Feringgi after a hearty meal by Jay’s Godma. It was tasty definately, and the trip to Batu Feringgi was eye openin’ as the dvds there was selling as low as RM4 per piece. *WTF man…is there any place in KL with this price??!* kekekekeke….! Met up with Hanz that night too in Pelita (island), n we then made our trip to Kenzo’s place as our last nite.

Our last nite was spent at Kenzo’s house, with cold showers :P ~ hahaha. Kenzo’s mum even got b’fast for us, and it was good, except the sweetness which i can barely enjoy. LOL…!

Overall, the journey was wonderful. I enjoyed it tremendously as my close friends were there, met wonderful people, laughed till i dropped, and relaxed to the max. =)~ will sure go there again soon =D~
