There’s always a certain time of life when you just wish you could turn back time; going back to the nostalgic happenings in your life; maybe even making a change…and realizing the past will stay as the past after all. There’s no use regretting in life, just learn from every mistake you’ve made and hope not to repeat it.
Big Bro Criz tagged me yesterday…to write basically about the time when i was 18 years old.
The rules goes as this…
(copied from Criz’s blog)
THE RULES:
1. Go to www.popculturemadness.com
2. Select the year you turned 18 (type the year in the google search)
3. Get all nostalgic over the songs of the year
4. Write about it
5 . Pass this tag onto 5 others
Oh well, today’s post is not about regrets and sorrows but its about going back to the time when i’m 18; n the songs produced of the year. As most of you would’ve known by now, i’m EXTREMELY terrible in the music industry…and i remembered how i made a fool out of myself (and Feebz) in front of the public in regards to the case of “Too Phat” @ Sunway Pyramid. Ahhh…those memories that Feebz never stopped reminding everyone!! LOLx…!!!

One of the subjects in the Jan 05, Diploma in Conventions & Event Management intake is the Exhibition Operations module. This apparently was our last event task prior to graduation. The first day of this subject, we were given a task; that was to develop 3 different booth designs for our client, Generating Opportunities of Learning Disables (GOLD) of SMK Bandar Sunway.
The whole team of 9 students; Aliah Jamin, Aira Yaziz, Daniel Lee, Elena Tong (me), Ng Sin Hue, MD Alif, Sylvia Chua, Wong Chui-San and Wong Ming Yi then teamed up together then had a meeting with our clients to know their requirements of the booth and brainstormed together to develop various concepts.
Little did we know, we were to organize a press conference with 5 judges from GOLD; of which the selection of the booth design would be decided there n then. Adding to that, the client have all the rights to reject all the designs at the press conference and if so, we basically failed our module or which marks will only be accumulated from the day the design is selected up-to the postmortem date.

Tiz blog is a continuation of my previous post…in regards of my birthday.
Ever wondered what the future would be like??? Is it going to go according to what u want, or what u planned??? Ever thought u would be standing where you are today??? or thought that everything that happened to u was some sort of a miracle???
(update for 27th January 2007)
This year’s b’day party, i’d say as my smallest but most meaningful birthday ever. Its caused i’ve finally turned 21, got my key and had my closest ‘family @ mates’ around. I know, unlike the rest of my b’days i’ve been celebrating for the past 3 years with my close friends…this round, the only ones that came for my birthday party this time is Feebz n John (it’s his b’day too).
The reason for this is that…
a) Last minute planning (as usual)
b) Lost touch with many of them (sorry..so so so sorry!)
c) Friends were busy (e.g: ben et, ju ju, han han)
d) Its a pub n some people would not come even by invitation (i’m not blaming…)
Prior to the party…was the most devastating day of my life. It came up to a point where i just didn’t feel like attending the party any longer. Jay n Justin got into a huge argument, n Feebz & I went savin’ the day. Make things short, its not a good experience, but the outcome was ok…
Although not many of my friends turned up for the event, I had the ‘family’ crew, along with some mates from Klang, my one n only coursemates that attended, n last but not list a surprised from Feebz, the Birthday Boy himself. There’s nothing more satisfyin’ than that. =)~

Gosh…among all mistakes, this would be my biggest one as i didn’t have the time to blog for not more than 5 mins on my own mum :S *sighs*. I feel like a useless daughter sometimes…
Neways…mum celebrated her 53rd bday at Country Barn with the family and some really close friends. The greatest thing of all was that my cousin, Karen was able to join us for this prosperous event. =)~ *slurps*. The cake was a wonderful cheesecake (two to be exact) all the way from Holiday Villa Subang. It was definitely lovely…

Mum’s make-up that night was done by…ME! n dad, being the loving husband, was hugging n dancin’ with her…just like two young teens fallin’ in love. *jealous* how i wished i could get a husband like my dad sometimes….LOL

Did u know how beautiful an island can be?? Well…after years not being in Penang, also known as Pulau Pinang, it finally came to my senses on how much this small simple island had grown tremendously. It was sort of heaven when I first reached Penang…its like being in Mini KL added with Mini PJ. Lol…
Well, truthfully, i can’t really remember the areas in Penang. But the people I met, got to know, and hang out with was amazing!! Lyna, all the way from Kedah dropped by together with Lou Gong (don’t know his name
) n Kaz came all the way from Taiping…just to meet me, hang out for 2-3 hours. How amazing is that??!
PS: i know most people would just say “its just a bloody hour drive”, but the sacrifices they made to meet me on a weekday, what more the time to plan this meeting n such…its more than just a mere friendship/acquaintance.
(Update for Dec 2006)
*hands up & surrender*
Its been way way way too long since i last blogged. I know, its since Feb 1st till now…but mind me, i’ve been extremely busy with my life, college, n the issues around with my friends. Lets just say it was really a time not to forget. The memories, the arguments, every single thing…
Christmas Eve
My Christmas last year was celebrated with a small group, that was Jay Darling, Justin Ah Pa, Kenzo Couz, Feebz Sis & my younger bro, Gilby. We had a bbq dinner downstairs, where we started off right when Jay finishes work continued by our special exchanged gifts session (Gilby not included in this). It was our first time having this, n it was a very different Christmas compared to any others; as the gifts we brought was for anyone of us, its supposed to be funny, hilarious and memorable.
Unfortunately, most pictures are unable to be shown as we promised to keep the photos to ourselves…though i’m so so so sure u guys & gals would be laughing ur heads off if u see the pics =P~
Just a slight view, the gifts was arranged as this…
1) Pink g-string – wear n dance shakira
2) Flower clips & Red Lipstick – make-up as an auntie
3) Bells, Santa Hat & Gold Ribbon – as a Christmas tree <— ME!! *hahaha*
4) Eyeliner – make-up as ugly as possible
5) Elephant g-string – take pics with the rest
New Year’s Eve
The same gang celebrated New Years Eve together. It was supposed to be another event we wanted to celebrate as friends, and as a family. Again, we only left when Jay finishes work…n this time the event is all the way in The Curve, Damansara.
The traffic wasn’t as bad as expected on the way as we took the back-way, but it took us bout an hour to get out of The Curve and head back to our back lane for dinner in Williams. It was a great event though…
We had our very own 1st Malaysian Idol singing live on stage, Jaq Victor and the wonderful fireworks followed by it. The flow of the event was quite smooth, n i met Ms. Li Ling with her friend, Jason Smashpop n Jennifer with their gang of Xfreshers/friends (not so sure), n one of the Xfresher i haven’t met for the past 3 years (can’t remember his name. sorry :S)
Little did i know…my very own boss of DCEM, Daniel Lee Wei Ren was there workin’ like a monkey (as he’s one)…sadly i didn’t know bout it till the following week. LOLx
